Week 4, 2013 Writing Prompt

Another story set at the old country resort: never swerve to avoid birds, even on a country road. You could end up in another dimension. For there are beings known as road pookas, entities in the forest that want to kill you but will settle for an offering of bananas and peanuts. Not bad, not good, until one day. One day, when instead of the trickster aura they instead emit a sharpness...spite. Only a wrensbreath from evil.

Week 3, 2013 Writing Prompt

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe meets Something Wicked This Way Comes: Rokuro Kubi, a snake-necked woman from Japanese mythology (portrayed in my mind by Lady Gaga in a role akin to David Bowie as the Goblin King) haunts an old country resort. Duncan, the asexual possibly immortal long-time resident of the hotel is tasked in dispatching her, but can she do so with two small children tagging along?

The little lords of chaos kept mostly out of site, until one of their brothers, Death, went missing, which forced them to make their presence known to a human in hopes of finding him.
